Rogue Leveling Guide

Power Leveling GuideI have been playing WOW for quite some time now but I usually prefer squishy characters. I know, I should at least try other ones. So, when I was ready to start a new character about a month ago, I chose a Rogue, based on a good friend’s recommendation.

I, of course, as always get out a new rogue leveling guide before I begin and briefly look it over, it will give me some hints as to where to focus my Talents and sometimes veen thing to keep in mind while I’m leveling.

I have been quite impressed with the Rogue and I’m a little angry I never chose to play one before! A Rogue is great for soloing, using skills like Sprint, if you get ganked, or Vanish, if you just need some time to bandage. Rogues also have other neat skills that you learn pretty early on like Stealth and Sap, and you just have to think its cool to pickpocket people and pick locks ;)

As always, you want to keep in mind that if you are using a rogue leveling guide and intend on using the power leveling guide, you may not learn every skill in the book. You can always work on these skills after you have become a level 80. For now, simply follow the rogue leveling guide and its steps.

Rogues work well with a variety of professions. I personally chose Mining and Engineering, mainly because I have no character which does engineering, but this has ended up being a great choice. The bombs and dynamite I can make allow me to mimic area spells, which Rogues cannot do. There’s also thing like Target Dummy which help in a big fight. This is not the only profession combo thats available for Rogues though. A Skinning/Leatherworker can make your own armor. An Herbalist/Alchemist can make great potions. Or, if your in it for the Gold, you can try purely gathering, choose two from Skinning/Herbalism/Mining and sell all that you’ve got, you’ll have much more Gold this way!

Power leveling with a Rogue is not very hard. Especially when using your rogue leveling guide. As I said earlier, a Rogue is great for soloing, so getting out there and farming, doing quests by yourself is totally an option. So, although most of the power leveling guides are written with soloing in mind, you will probably die less times and be able to get more xp with a rogue, because you will be able to kill higher level characters by your self.

Just make sure to research your rogue leveling guide to make sure that it will cover the things that you need it to cover and that it is in a format you prefer. Don’t buy an e-book that you will never read if a video or add-on will help you more! make sure to read more about general power leveling tips prior to going out and doing it on your own, even with a great rogue :)

Are You Leveling Too Slowly? Is Your Character Poor?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, then you will want to look into Zygor’s Guides to World of Warcraft. These guides cover everything from powerleveling (1-80 in 7 days!) to gold farming to professions.
